Groundworker

Job Title: Groundworker
Location: Exeter

Overview:

We are looking for skilled Groundworkers to work across various infrastructure and utility projects, including drainage, highways, riverbank strengthening, and pipeline installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out all aspects of groundworks .
• Install drainage systems, headwalls, and pipework.
• Support in construction of trash screens, access tracks, and minor structural works.
• Operate plant and equipment safely ( dumpers, rollers, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to site safety and environmental procedures.
• Work as part of a small, skilled team delivering to programme and specification.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Groundworker in civil engineering or utilities.
• CSCS card (essential).
• CPCS/NPORS tickets for plant operation (desirable).
• Street Works (NRSWA) accreditation (advantageous).
• Strong understanding of safe excavation and reinstatement practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
