Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong practical construction background to oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction projects across the Midlands. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has progressed through the industry from a trade, Foreman, Site Supervisor or Site Manager position into Contracts Management. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable on live construction sites as they are managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects. Working closely with Site Managers, commercial teams and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously from commencement through to completion. Provide leadership, support and mentoring to Site Managers and site teams. Maintain a regular presence on construction sites to monitor progress and standards. Identify construction issues early and implement practical solutions. Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with specifications. Drive high standards of workmanship and quality across all projects. Review project programmes and monitor progress against key milestones. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams throughout project delivery. Review construction contracts, specifications and client requirements. Manage valuations, applications for payment and project cash flow. Assess, negotiate and agree project variations.
