Electrical Shift Engineer (Cambridge)

Position: Electrical Shift Engineer
Location: Cambridge (state-of-the-art facility)
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Shifts: 4 on 4 off - days & nights

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading FM service provider, working within a prestigious, state-of-the-art facility in Cambridge. This is an excellent chance to develop your career further with structured training and clear progression pathways.

What you'll do:

• Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance across the site's electrical and building services systems.
• Work as part of the on-site engineering team, ensuring compliance and minimal downtime.
• Provide technical support and respond quickly to breakdowns and urgent requests.
• Take part in shift cover (4 on 4 off, days & nights) to ensure smooth operation of the facility.
• Support with additional works and overtime as required.

What you'll bring:

• Fully qualified Electrical Engineer with strong building services experience.
• Proven ability to carry out maintenance across electrical systems within a commercial environment.
• Flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days & nights).
• LV training or willingness to undertake further training.
• A proactive and reliable approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
