Gas Engineer

Salary: 42,500
My client is looking for a qualified and experienced Gas Engineer to carry out gas servicing, repairs, and installations to a high standard, ensuring compliance with Gas Safe regulations and building requirements. Customer satisfaction is central to every job you'll complete.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out gas servicing, repairs, and installations efficiently and effectively.
Diagnose and repair faults, aiming for first-time fixes.
Deliver excellent customer service and liaise effectively with residents.
Ensure work is completed cost-effectively, ordering materials when needed.
Keep up to date with gas legislation and best practice.
Provide technical support to colleagues and assist in developing apprentices/trainees.
Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
Maintain company vehicle and use electronic systems for updates and certifications.
Requirements:
ACS certification (minimum CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, CKR1).
City & Guilds Level 3 in Domestic Heating (Unvented Hot Water desirable).
Strong technical knowledge of heating systems, controls, and building regulations.
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel.
Good IT and communication skills with a strong focus on customer care.
