Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of drainage systems, equipment, and working methods

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure

  • Confident in learning and implementing new processes

  • Full UK driving licence (plumbing NVQ and water jetting qualifications preferred)

Duties

  • Managing and supporting a team of drainage engineers

  • Ordering materials, raising quotations, and liaising with suppliers

  • Supervising works on-site and ensuring quality standards

  • Handling client inquiries, updates, and job bookings through live systems

  • Coordinating with CCTV survey teams and managing client portals

  • Implementing processes to improve operational efficiency

  • Overseeing drainage reactive and planned works, monitoring progress, and providing technical support

  • Liaising with clients regularly and assisting with escalations, including occasional out-of-hours support

  • Conducting site visits, audits, and vehicle inspections

  • Preparing RAMS and recommendations in collaboration with estimators and buying teams
