Are you an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering commercial build projects from inception to completion?
We're working with a respected specialist contractor who are seeking a driven and organised leader to join their permanent team. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, this is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of multiple projects and deliver them to the highest standards.

If you excel in coordinating teams, managing programmes, and building strong relationships with stakeholders, while bringing technical expertise in commercial construction (particularly stonework, brickwork, or main contracting), we'd like to hear from you.

The Role:

As a Project Manager, you'll take full responsibility for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial build projects. You'll manage programmes, budgets, and resources while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to exceptional quality standards.

This role involves leadership both on and off site, requiring excellent stakeholder management and the ability to balance client expectations with operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of commercial build projects, ensuring compliance with programme, budget, and quality objectives.

  • Health & Safety Oversight: Ensure rigorous safety standards across all projects, carrying out regular inspections and promoting a proactive culture of health and safety.

  • Programme & Budget Control: Monitor progress against project programmes and budgets, reporting regularly to senior management and clients, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the principal point of contact for clients, consultants, local authorities, and subcontractors, ensuring strong communication and alignment at every stage.

  • Team & Supply Chain Coordination: Lead, motivate, and manage subcontractors and site teams to achieve project goals, ensuring productivity, collaboration, and quality of work.

  • Risk & Resource Management: Identify and manage project risks, while ensuring effective allocation of labour, plant, and materials to meet project requirements.

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring all work meets specifications, drawings, and client expectations.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with experience in delivering complex, multidisciplinary commercial build projects. You'll have a strong grasp of both the technical and managerial aspects of project delivery, with the ability to oversee multiple workstreams while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Requirements:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS Card (Black or Gold level)
  • First Aid at Work Certificate
  • HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
  • Demonstrable experience managing commercial build projects from planning through to completion
  • Ideally, direct experience in stonework, brickwork, or main contracting

You'll Also Bring:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and legislation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency with IT tools such as MS Project, Excel, and project management software
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to interpret and deliver technical specifications
