Job Description

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are seeking a seasoned Design Manager to join a leading architecture firm, on a 12-month contract basis, outside IR35. As the successful candidate, you will be required to on a hybrid basis from our client's Heathrow office, 3 days a week. Within this role, you will be responsible for working on a variety of hospitality, commercial, and/or aviation projects, stages 2-5.

-Competitive hourly rate ranging from £40-£47 (depending on experience).

-Hybrid working arrangements (3 days in office)

Responsibilities:

-Direct the architectural design team through print, branding, and digital projects from start to finish.

-Oversee project regimes, team resources, and quality control, to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard.

-Control and maintain project systems, set timelines, distribute work to the team, and make sure that the project meets specifications, budgets, and timeframes.

-Collaborate with clients to present project plans and details, talking them through the development process from start to finish.

-Provide support and guidance to designers, providing advice and feedback to strengthen their knowledge and skills.

-Keep up to date on the developments within technology, tools, and strategies within the industry, promoting business development and growth.

Requirements:

- Revit experience is essential.

-Extensive experience as a Design Manager, or a related position, ideally working on hospitality, aviation and/or commercial projects.

-Solid portfolio of designs proving adequate delivery of print, digital, and other media designs.

-Proficient understanding of design software, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.

-Expert-level skills in typography, visual design, and concept creation.

-Strong communication, leadership, and organisation skills, with the ability to handle several concurrent projects.
