Flat Roof Contracts Manager

A highly regarded specialist contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in Flat Roofing to oversee commercial and industrial roofing projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically confident and commercially astute professional to take ownership of multiple live sites and deliver projects to the highest standards of safety, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management and delivery of Flat Roofing projects (including single ply, built-up felt, hot melt, liquid systems, green roofs, and associated works) from pre-construction through to completion.

• Oversee multiple live sites simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the specified quality.

• Manage client relationships, attend progress meetings, and act as the primary point of contact for all contractual and technical matters.

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflows and safe working practices.

• Monitor and control project budgets, variations, and contract documentation.

• Ensure full compliance with H&S regulations and company quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven track record managing Flat Roofing projects (commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential).

• Excellent understanding of flat roofing systems (e.g., single ply, hot melt, liquid waterproofing, built-up felt).

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness with experience managing budgets and client expectations.

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South East
