Specification Manager (Facades / Building Envelope)

£50,000-£55,000 basic + bonus (15% of salary, paid quarterly) + car/allowance + 33 days' holiday + health cash plan

Covering Midlands / North

Own specification strategy, deliver CPDs, and influence facade and building envelope designs at concept stage. This Specification Manager role offers autonomy, technical credibility, and the chance to shape high-profile projects without sales chasing

The Role
  • Deliver CPDs and technical presentations to Architects, Engineers and Consultants

  • Write specifications and support compliant designs across masonry support, cavity trays, lintels and facade systems

  • Build and maintain high-level relationships at design stage

  • Handover secured specifications to the sales team for delivery

  • Collaborate with the National Specification Manager and Area Sales Managers, feeding into campaigns and keeping CRM project records up to date

  • Attend key industry exhibitions and occasional evening/weekend CPD events (with overnight stays where required)

The Person
  • Proven track record influencing specifications in Building Systems, Facade, Masonry Support or Brickwork

  • Confident presenter with strong CPD delivery skills

  • Midlands/North base, comfortable covering Birmingham upwards

  • Existing industry contacts an advantage; credible, relationship-led, commercially aware
