The role of the Bid Manager – Cladding / Fire Remediation will involve:
* Bid Manager position dealing with the design, fabrication and installation of high end timber structures
* Liaising with clients such as UK high street retail chains, global hotel brands, large student accommodation providers, hospitality sectors, data centres, major sporting arenas and property management firms
* Maintain business opportunities through existing client database Developing and maintaining key relationships with all major contractors, developers and cost consultants
* Attending early stage client based meetings to discuss potential projects
* Preparing pre-construction documents for tender opportunities
* Coordination of operational and design resources for bid preparation
* Taking possession of tender enquiry documents to produce thorough detailed bid submissions
* Preparation and delivery of start-up presentations to the bid team and continual management of tender programmes
* Biding projects ranging in value from £100k to circa £5m
The ideal applicant will be Bid Manager – Cladding / Fire Remediation with:
* Must have Pre-Construction/Bid Management experience within the construction industry
* Must have experience with fire remediation
* Must be an outgoing character who is a confident presenter and negotiator
* IT literate in Microsoft Office
* High attention to detail
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
* Effective time management and organisational skills
* Proactive and driven individual
