Reporting to the Commercial Director, we are recruiting for a Senior QS to join a large SME Construction Group of companies with offices throughout the UK working on construction schemes up to 15 million.

Key Responsibilities

Management of a portfolio of projects
Compile programme-based cost to complete / project budgets
Advising on procurement strategy.
Preparing subcontract documents, including bills of quantities.
Flag areas of Commercial Risk to Commercial Manager
Sub-Contractor Procurement
Prepare Costs for Tenders
Undertaking CVR's
Performing risk and value management and cost control
Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risk
Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
Price up variations and obtain agreement with clients
Agree Final Accounts
Provide commercial advice to the site team as and when required
Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
Assist senior management with the preparation of contractual claims
