Freelance Site Manager Housing Refurbishment Scheme
Location: Berwick-upon-Tweed
Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Freelance

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a housing refurbishment scheme in Berwick-upon-Tweed, commencing this October.

• Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring smooth delivery of the refurbishment programme

• Coordinating subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to meet deadlines and quality standards

• Monitoring health & safety on site and ensuring compliance with regulations

• Liaising with the client, project team, and residents to maintain strong communication and resolve issues quickly

• Reporting progress, risks, and site activity to senior management

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on housing refurbishment or similar residential schemes

• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to manage subcontractors effectively and deliver to programme deadlines

• Valid SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification
