Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established main contractor based in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in Quantity Surveying, looking to join a dynamic and succesful business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the quantity surveying process reporting to the Contracts Director / Manager.
• To provide commercial management of the project, liaising with Client Team and Supply Chain, from final tender to final account.
• To act in accordance with the Company Values and Operational Procedures.
• To provide commercial management support of the project, liaising with Client Team and Supply chain, from final tender to final account

Requirements:

• Construction related: Degree / HND / HNC, Professional Membership of Industry Bodies, MCIOB.
• Proven experience in Project Set Up including the handover from the Estimating Technical incl. Quantity Surveying all different build types & methods
• Project Management incl. planning & programming
• Design process and management C
• Commercial management including the bid process.
• Contract law (as necessary) and different types of contract and procedures
• Processes and Regulation, incl: QMS; H&S; Site Management; BIM; Environmental.
