• Attend Risk Reduction meetings.
• Prepare a monthly Supervisors report on all Quality aspects of the project.

• Undertake a final inspection prior to the end of the Defects Period and identify any and all remaining defects to be corrected and only once correct to the satisfaction of the Supervisor

Responsibilities:
* Ensuring team compliance of Company/Legislative Health , Safety and Environmental policies
* Completing all works to the required Company, Client and local authorities standards
* Compliance with road opening licenses
* Ensuring team compliance with road works Signing , lighting and guarding
* The ordering of all required materials
* The Excavation and Reinstatement of the public highway for the laying of communication ducting , Construction of Under chambers and the erection of Communication street side cabinets
* The clearance of Sites
* Your team's daily work site progress
* The timely updating of electronic job packs
* Good upkeep of issued vehicle plant/equipment
* Liaising with affected third parties
Requirements:
* 3+ Years industry experience, Utilities a major advantage
* Ability to communicate effectively and command respect
* Computer literate - intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary
* Reliable, flexible to travel as necessary
* Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times
* Exposure to power industry or telecoms as distinct advantage
* Commercially focused professional with the ability to work to deadlines
* Excellent communicator and able to liaise with all levels of the organization as well as the client

STR's client is a leading Structural Steelwork Fabricator, with great heritage and a proven track record of delivering structural steelwork and associated building materials to the the Petrochem/Nuclear industries.
Due to continued growth there is an opening for a site-based Project Manager to join the business. This is a site based role, working within a NAECI governed powerstation, converting from coal-fired to Biomass.
MAIN DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day to day operational aspects of the project
- Daily/weekly planning and monitoring against master programme of works, utilising MS Project.
- Sub-contract and direct labour control and management
- Maintain site records, in accordance with company procedure and the Quality Assurance programme
- Maintain the highest levels of Health and Safety
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid.
Appointed Person qualification would also be a distinct advantage.
Experience of working in within the structural steel industry is essential, and you will have worked worked under the blue book/Naeci agreement.
