Promote Safety in Design principles and engineering best practice across all disciplines. Coordinate production of as-built information, commissioning documentation and O&M manuals for project handover. Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and internal project teams. Mentor and support Design Coordinators and Assistant Design Managers. The ideal candidate will have/be: Proven experience managing design delivery from pre-construction through to project completion. Strong technical understanding of construction design, engineering principles and design management. Experience managing design programmes, technical reviews and consultant coordination. Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations and construction compliance. Experience identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities. Strong understanding of buildability, technical coordination and design risk management. Previous experience working on data centres, mission-critical or major construction projects would be advantageous. Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience.
