Our client is a Main Contractor looking to expand heir team. They are in need of an Assistant Site Manager to join them and assist the Site Manager in daily requirements.
Core Duties
Assist in day-to-day management of construction sites, coordinating workforce activities to meet project schedules and ensure quality workmanship.
Supervise construction tasks and subcontractors, ensuring that all work adheres to building codes, safety regulations, and project standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and uphold safety protocols.
Plan and organize construction schedules, helping to manage resources effectively, including materials, labor, and equipment.
Manage site documentation and reports, keeping accurate records of work completed, safety incidents, and project developments.
Liaise with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.
Assist with risk assessment and problem-solving, identifying hazards and implementing practical solutions to minimise accidents or delays.
Support health and safety compliance by enforcing regulations, providing staff training, and maintaining a safe working environment.
