Site Manager - Chester - Restaurant Fit-out

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the fit-out of a rebranded restaurant in Chester. This is a 12-week contract, ideal for someone with a strong trades background and a proven track record delivering high-quality fit-outs in the hospitality or retail sectors.

The project involves the refurbishment and rebrand of an existing restaurant unit, requiring coordination of multiple trades and close attention to detail to meet both programme and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and to the required standards

• Coordinate subcontractors and trades, scheduling deliveries and managing site logistics

• Monitor progress against the programme, resolving any delays or issues efficiently

• Ensure health and safety regulations are upheld at all times on site

• Communicate regularly with the project team, client representatives, and suppliers

• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain site records

Requirements:

• SMSTS and First Aid certification

• Strong trades background, ideally joinery

• Previous experience delivering restaurant fit-out projects

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site operations
