General Labourer

We are currently recruiting two General Labourers to join the team on a high-profile 55 million student accommodation development in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major construction project with potential for ongoing work based on performance and site progress.

Key Responsibilities

• General site labouring duties, including keeping the site clean and tidy
• Assisting tradespeople and site management with various tasks
• Moving materials and equipment safely across site
• Unloading and loading deliveries
• Erecting and dismantling temporary fencing, signage, and barriers
• Assisting with site set-up and maintenance
• Complying with all health & safety regulations and instructions
• Reporting hazards or issues to the site team

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card
• Previous site experience as a general labourer
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
• Full PPE: safety boots, hard hat, hi-vis (additional PPE may be provided)

Desirable

• Manual Handling or other relevant site training
• Experience on large-scale or high-value construction projects
• First Aid or Traffic Marshall qualifications (advantageous)
