Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Fit Outs

Are you an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor who has a background working on Interior fit-out projects?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a truested and quality interior fit outs business, who are currently on the look out for either a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator to join them on a permanent basis. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial success of all of our commercial projects, working with junior members of staff and getting involved in the pre-tender side of the business.

What are we looking for?

• Proven Quantity Surveying / Estimating experience working for a similar fit out business on a commercial basis.
• Ideally, a RICS or CIOB membership
• Strong knowledge of sustainable building practices
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Manage project budgets, contracts, and variations
• Collaborate with design and PM teams
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor costs, forecast spend, and ensure profitability
