The Role: Contracts Manager
Our client is looking for either an energetic Project Manager with a good mix of build experience behind them and looking for the opportunity to progress into a Contracts Manager role or a Contracts Manager that has been within the Contracts Manager role for no more than 3 to 5 years and looking to gain more experience and exposure with a smaller main contractor.
Within the role you will be a focal point for looking after 2 to 4 projects, dealing with supply chain and having good commercial understanding and awareness, from setting up approved suppliers and vetting of sub-contractors through to client liaison. Daily contact with site managers running and delivering projects be that new build or fast track conversion projects.
As Contracts Manager you will be expected to have good communication skills and be able to report your professional opinions to the Directors on daily / weekly basis whilst managing progress and time frames on sites. With contracts being both D&B and traditional so it is important that you have worked on similar projects and contracts previously.

Will be number 1 on site managing programmes, sub-contractors, weekly schedules, meetings, inductions and ensuring running to plan and budget. Mon-Fri 9 hour days, project will run roughly between 12-18 months depending on how it goes. Project roughly around £1.5m in total.
Need somebody who has been an out and out site manager, running projects alone showing competency and ability. Proven track record of keeping projects to deadlines and budgets. Must be pro-active, excellent communication skills and be willing to go the extra mile when required. Must have SMSTS, CSCS and first aid as a minimum. Looking for freelance site manager who can start as quickly as possible.
