Candidate required: MEP Site Manager Job Type: Permanent or Freelance Start date: September 2025 Industry: Construction Professionals South Location: West London The role & about the client: ITS Construction Professionals are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable M&E and Construction Contractor with over 30 years in the industry. Our client has a strong track record of delivering projects in the healthcare, education, and transport sectors. We are seeking an experienced MEP Site Manager to join a prestigious and technically challenging healthcare refurbishment project in West London. The 15-month scheme involves the transformation of two existing hospital floors into consulting rooms, an MRI suite, and a nuclear medicine facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-value, complex project with long-term potential. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for managing MEP works on-site, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that health & safety, programme, and quality standards are consistently achieved. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing day-to-day MEP installation activities on a live healthcare site. Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour to deliver high-quality work. Monitoring progress and reporting via Procore project management software . Overseeing health and safety compliance, including reviewing RAMS. Planning and delivering MEP shutdowns, diversions, and reinstatement works. Managing temporary and permanent mechanical and electrical systems installation. Liaising with the main contractor and client team to ensure alignment with the wider construction programme. Leading MEP coordination with construction activities to avoid clashes and delays. The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum 7 years' experience in MEP site management. Time-served or HND-qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering. Strong knowledge of building services in complex, live environments (preferably healthcare). Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Valid SMSTS and First Aid qualifications. Experience using Procore or similar project management platforms (preferred). Fire Marshal certification (preferred). Ability to interpret and deliver on MEP design drawings. A proactive communicator with excellent coordination and leadership skills. MEP Quantity surveyor - Freelance Excellent opportunity to work on a 1billion+ Energy project in the South of France Location: South of France (Marseille) Salary: £400 - £450 per day (No lodgings / No Travel) Duration: 1 year (This role will see you live in France near site for the duration of the project) Role: This role requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with a project team delivering a new Power plant in Southern France. This is managing the MEP package of works so this will be key when applying for this position. You don't need Power Plant experience but a good project background could include: - Pharmaceuticals Nuclear Power Generation Hospitals These projects have a good mix of new build with strong MEP interfacing in a complex / high risk environment. As well as being in a more regulated environment so taking a more detailed involvement with contractual law. This contract is a Bespoke contract, but my client is open to your contractual knowledge and experience. As part of a larger team of commercial professionals with varied backgrounds, coming from other countries across Europe. This role would suit anyone that has limited ties to the UK and able to work and live in France 5 days a week. The role duties can include any of the following: - Preparation of contracts across the supply chain, including Materials, Plant and Sub contractors On-going cost analysis of the project Undertake Cost changes as required Stakeholder meetings to ensure full cost recovery where applicable Monthly reporting to the Commercial manager of your section of work and any cost issues that might arise. Final accounts as packages come to a end Variations and cost negotiations as required with sub-contractors on site. Required Experience: A Qualification be it HNC / HND or full Degree ideally in Quantity Surveying or other related subject. Senior Project Manager Coventry Freelance (Outside IR35) Salary Negotiable The Client My client is an international organisation who are a leading security solutions and communications provider. The service they provide includes design, installation, maintenance and commissioning of products which include all security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Facial Recognition, ACS, Electrified Fencing etc) as well as secure Fibre/Telecoms. The sectors they tend to work in tend to be Capital Delivery/Infrastructure projects, Rail, National Grid, Oil & Gas, Nuclear etc. The Role * Project management of LV installation on HV sites and construction activities on Infrastructure projects. * Client liaison and attendance at meetings. * Design review meetings. * Managing the work of sub-contractors on site. * Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety. * Commercial Awareness, looking to break down the project and improving service delivery times on each element. Responsibilities * Working on capital delivery projects * Transmission and distribution experience required. * To deliver Connections on time and within budget * Maintain financial control of projects throughout using correct procedures. * Develop Construction Method Statements and prepare site instruction. * Carry out Risk Assessments and safety audits as required * Ensure all works are carried out to DNO specifications. * Carry out all works in line with company policies and procedures * Liaise with other staff / client to ensure all targets and key milestones are met. * Ensure that the legal completion for their individual projects is being monitored. * To provide and feedback relevant KPI information as required. * To hold all current relevant authorisations and certification related to the project before personnel can carry out the works. * Experience in managing projects involving LV/ HV cables and/or substations, with a track record of safe, timely and profitable delivery Skills Required * Electrical background or experience of managing electrical aspects of a project. * Commercially aware, specifically NEC knowledge. * Full project lifecycle experience. * Change Management. * Experience of working on challenging projects. * Good people management skills. * Ideally have some knowledge of security systems on previous projects. * Capital Delivery project experience, this could be on Rail, National Grid, Nuclear, Water, Power Generation, Gas, Solar or other relevant sectors. Qualifications * Some form of construction related qualification, ideally electrical although this isn’t a necessity.
