We are looking for an intermediate level Building Services Manager for a long-standing Interior Fitout Contractor Client, to work on projects in Central London. This is an M&E Management role but you could come from either a Mechanical or Electrical Background provided you are looking to develop your M&E management knowledge and experience. The role would ideally suit a Mechanical or Electrical Building Services Engineer from an M&E subcontractor background who has worked on fitout projects and is looking to progress their career by moving from a sub-contractor over to a highly regarded Main Contractor. This Client's business concerns the fitout and refurbishment of large buildings, principally located in the Home counties, along the M4 and M3 corridor and locations suiting the Technology and life sciences hubs around Oxford. This is a large company and they are looking for several people in this broad region. This client are concerned with a variety of building types, and their workload is split between commercial offices, Cat A and Cat B fit out, Pharmaceutical and Critical infrastructure. They are looking for an M&E Building Services Manager (either Mechanical or Electrically biased). This role is sometimes referred to as a Technical Services Manager (TSM), or Building Services Manager (BSM) for Fitout Contractors. You will be controlling the M&E Installation on Projects, taking projects from inception to completion. Previous fast-track M&E Management Installation experience within a fit out or refurbishment environment for a fitout contractor would be ideal however- our client will also consider project managers with a stable background working on decent projects with an M or E sub-contractor looking to move across to a main contractor. Project Manager Role As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for managing the onsite and offsite project team on fit-out and refurbishment projects, acting as the main point of contact and responsible for effective communication of the scope of works. You will be liaising with clients and delivery partners to maintain expectations and project requirements so we can provide the best experience possible. They are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to be based on a project in Dublin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for - * Establishing the performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being met * Developing and administering quality control provisions and safety implementations * Liaising with the commercial team to ensure contracts, purchase orders, payment certs and change orders are issued * Creation of installed drawings and O&M Manuals. * Having a detailed knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems and equipment including UPS, STS, EPMS, BMS, Generators, Busbar systems and PDU’s. * Understanding COHE policies and to liaise with various vendors and subcontractors in relation to LOTO of their equipment You will need - * To be degree qualified * Over 10 years previous experience in Project Management managing Large scale Electrcial projects including office fitouts, retail, hotels schools, data centres etc * Mechanical experience an advantage * Data Centre experience is highly desirable
