Our client is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable and fast-growing house builder, delivering high-quality residential developments across the region. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of budgets, cost plans and valuations Support senior surveyors with subcontractor procurement and tender analysis Monitor and manage project costs and variations Assist with monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) and forecasting Support the management of subcontractor payments and final accounts Contribute to risk management and value engineering initiatives Ensure compliance with company procedures and construction contracts Requirements: Working towards or recently completed a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (HNC/HND also considered) 1+ years' experience in a similar role with a house builder, contractor, or consultancy Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant commercial software Full UK driving licence What They Offer: Competitive salary + car allowance or company car 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme Private healthcare (after qualifying period) Professional development support and training Opportunities to progress within a growing business Why Join?
