Jobline Staffing is recruiting for experienced Groundworkers to work for a well-established Groundworks contractor on projects throughout Cornwall. The roles will be temporary offering full time hours.
These projects will be to start over the next few weeks when projects/sites start to re-open. There will be restrictions in place to take into consideration COVID-19.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Duties will vary depending on experience and tickets held however you must have experience in the following:
* Groundworking – marking out and digging trenches for duct and cable laying, sewer connections
* Drainage-manholes, road gullies, drains and soak aways
* Road working – concreting, laying kerbs, paving and re-surfacing/tarmacing
* You will be required to assist with all groundworks/roadworks maintenance, drainage, landscaping, kerbing, general labour and other duties as and when required
* Operating plant machines providing CPCS held for relevant machine
* You will be working in gangs that have various skill sets, therefore you will be expected to work together well and use your initiative whilst following strict H&S
**Hourly rate will be dependent on tickets and experience held**
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Previous experience of working on civils projects
* CSCS card (Essential)
* UK Driving licence (Essential)
* CPCS/NPORS desirable
* Streetworks desirable
