Based in Cumbria , the successful candidate will manage day-to-day site activities, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all on-site activities related to steel erection and Kalzip system installation. Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance is maintained to the highest standards. Monitor site progress and prepare regular reports for internal and client updates. Oversee the quality control of work being carried out on site. Manage site logistics, deliveries, and workforce scheduling. Handle site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety briefings. Identify and resolve any site issues or conflicts as they arise. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, ideally with steel and Kalzip systems. Strong knowledge of steel structures, cladding systems, and roofing installations. Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification. CSCS card (Black or White/Gold preferred).
