This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in architectural technology and a passion for residential construction. Qualifications: BTEC Level 3 / ONC / OND in Architectural Technology, Building, or Architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit experience is a plus. Experience: Experience in the house building sector, either with a developer or architectural practice. Strong understanding of traditional and modern construction methods. Familiarity with structural, thermal, energy, fire, and acoustic design principles. Knowledge of service provider requirements (e.g., data, water, electrical, PV, ventilation). Increased workload has opened up a position for a Mechanical CAD / Revit Technician to join their design team. Your new role As part of the in house mechanical design team, you will be required to work closely with design engineers and project managers, creating high quality mechanical services drawings from engineer's designs in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. This will involve drafting Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and public services onto architectural drawings in 2D and 3D. Coordination of M&E services will also be required. About the Role MEPH Revit/CAD Engineer required for an immediate start (full time) based from our office in Canterbury. Engineer will have a sound knowledge of building services coordination. Duties will be to assist the lead coordinator with day to day drawing work using both REVIT and AutoCAD, marking up drawings for sub-contractors and, reviewing drawings received back from our sub-contractors. Hours will be 7.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch.
