The Role As Flat Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for: Preparing accurate estimates and competitive tenders for flat roofing projects Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Producing detailed quantity take-offs and cost plans Obtaining competitive quotations from suppliers and specialist subcontractors Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial risks Preparing detailed pricing submissions and tender documentation Liaising with clients, surveyors, architects, and project teams throughout the tender process Supporting project handovers to the operational and commercial teams Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Assisting with continuous improvement of estimating procedures and cost databases The Ideal Candidate The successful Flat Roofing Estimator will have: Previous experience as an Estimator within the roofing or construction industry Strong knowledge of flat roofing systems , including felt, single-ply, EPDM, GRP, or liquid roofing Experience pricing commercial roofing projects would be highly advantageous Strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent communication and negotiation skills Good Microsoft Excel and IT skills A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tenders Full UK Driving Licence What's on Offer Competitive basic salary of 45,000 - 60,000 Attractive benefits package Opportunity to join a well-established and respected roofing contractor Exposure to a wide variety of commercial and residential roofing projects Long-term career progression within a growing business Ongoing professional development and training Supportive and collaborative working environment Apply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.
