Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions. Assist with contract handovers to project delivery teams following successful bids. Monitor market trends, material costs and industry developments. Support business development activities and contribute to bid strategy discussions. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications. Excellent commercial awareness and cost analysis skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Capable of managing multiple tenders and working effectively to deadlines. The Role As Managing Estimator, you will take a lead role within the estimating function, supporting the continued growth of the business and helping manage an increasing pipeline of projects. You will be responsible for overseeing estimating activities, reviewing tenders and costs, supporting the wider commercial function and working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure competitive and commercially robust submissions.
