The Building Services Engineering Supervisor will report to the Engineering Manager, this role has responsibility for the reliable and compliant operation of the site wide Building and Utility Services and equipment serving all areas of the European Knowledge Centre (EKC) facility at Hatfield. Role Purpose Responsible for the safe execution of a portfolio of concurrent projects for various Rolls Royce sites. As part of the role you will ensure that the projects are delivered to meet Integral & Rolls Royce's standards in regard to health, safety, quality, cost and programme, whilst complying as a Principal Contractor with current CDM legislation. This includes compliance with MS18 and CSO6 Rolls Royce standards. You must be qualified in a related trade, mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, roofing etc. What you will be doing You will have responsibility for the execution of projects with potential values between £50k to £15m. Manage the projects in accordance with the requirements of the NEC3 Framework Contract and ensure projects are delivered to the agreed contract programme. You will provide Health and safety leadership to your site delivery teams (including sub-contractors and suppliers), promoting behavioural safety improvements, ensuring our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards. Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the projects. Play an active lead in the production and risk management of quotations and estimates. Promote and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company's reputation at project level. Provide coaching, mentoring and development support to direct reports and trainees. Work closely with the Senior Design Manager to ensure robust, workable economic and constructible designs are produced. Support project opportunities where identified, to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance. Liaise with the Rolls Royce Project Managers to ensure that the projects are managed in compliance with MS18, CS06 and the current delivery programme and cost plan. To enhance the strength of contract delivery to ensure highest standards of quality are maintained in accordance with programme delivery - complying with relevant British Standards, codes of practice and Rolls Royce Standards. Ensure projects are completed snag and defect free. Ensure that post completion deliverables such as final accounts and Operation & Maintenance information is delivered within the contracted timescales.
