You will manage CDM aspects relating to the design changes during the construction period, including discharging the role of principle designer. Criteria Strong knowledge of secondary lining to tunnels and shafts using reinforced concrete methods in the marine and tunnelling environment. Strong knowledge of pipe jacking and associated launch/termination structures. 3+ years of design experience of TBM, pipe jack and secondary lining tunnelling structures. Design process and design activities (preferably related to Nuclear Industry). Working knowledge of Concrete design codes (e.g. Eurocode 2). Design with hazard & accidental safety cases. Working within UK CDM regulations and in a highly regulated industry. Delivery-oriented and ability to set action plans and meet deadlines.
