ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Handyman/Woman to assist our client with a project based in Hailsham, East Sussex . Own transport is preferred. This contract will Monday to Friday and there may be an option to work overtime. Daily responsibilities will include: Repairing snags and defects Fixing minor issues such as scratches, dents, loose fittings, or misaligned doors after construction. Performing paint and finishing touch-ups Ensuring walls, trims, and surfaces are flawless before handover. Installing and adjusting fixtures Fitting hardware, shelves, doorstops, handles, and ensuring all fixtures work properly. Preparing the property for final handover Completing last-minute repairs, ensuring cleanliness, and confirming the home is ready for the new owner. Requirements for the role Experience on new build sites Own Tools & transport Valid CSCS Card You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee. Training/Progression opportunities: There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management Rates of Pay: Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
