Liaise with other Train Operators and Network Rail to achieve the most commercially attractive, well performing amended plan, including rail replacement services. Ensure data integrity of all schedules and diagrams, and ensure all amended bids are correctly represented in industry and public systems. Liaise with the Train Crew Diagramming Specialists to ensure services are timed to maximise the efficiency of the Drivers and train managers. Complete, within set timescales, full documentation (liaise with Train Planning Specialist on progress and completion) for amended plans, including station simplifiers, timetables and unit diagrams. The business successfully delivers some of the UK's most iconic major projects, with a particular focus on the southern home counties. The business successfully delivers some of the UK's most iconic major projects, with a particular focus on the southern home counties. They have an enviable pipeline of work at present, with their own clients consisting of numerous blue-chip organisation and several public bodies. Working within the Estimating/Cost Planning team and based at their Brighton head office, the Senior Cost Planner will report to the Head of Cost Planning and play a key part within the Cost Planning function of the business, projects range between £20m - £100m in value, predominantly within the Education, Healthcare,Commercial, Mixed-Use and Hospitality sectors. Experience of working on public sector construction frameworks would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced Senior Cost Planner with vast knowledge of costing and pricing within the construction industry. It is expected that you’ll have 2-5 years planning experience and have worked on multiple projects within infrastructure and construction. Experience sought Essential * Strong Primavera P6 user. At least 2 years’ experience. * Experience working on multiple projects/programmes at once. * You be a details person. You’ll be able to, and have experience of, looking into the P6 programme at multiple levels of depth. * Security cleared. * Experience of planning construction or infrastructure projects from £30k to £10s of millions. Desirable * Able to work independently and manage a project plan from start to finish either on your own or with support. * Hold an academic qualification, such as BSc, BEng or HNC/D etc. in a Construction or Civil Engineering degree. * Hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
