Monitoring project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure profitability. Procuring and managing subcontractor packages, including negotiation and agreement of terms. Producing accurate cost reports and forecasts for senior management. Liaising closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial delivery. Identifying and mitigating commercial risks, ensuring compliance with contract requirements. Supporting continuous improvement within the commercial department. What you will need to succeed: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, highways, or infrastructure. Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial management principles. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Confident communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships. Proficient in MS Office and relevant quantity surveying software. A proactive, organised, and commercially minded approach. Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
