This is multi-skilled position and engineers will be required to carry out both Mechanical and Electrical installation, maintenance and servicing on a daily basis. Role Description * Installation, Service and Maintenance of HIUs and associated pipework on new build residential sites. * Retrofitting of HIUs at residential sites. * Carry out Mechanical and Electrical service and maintenance on heat network equipment as required. * Problem solving and fault-finding issues on site and liaising with other trades and the main contractor. * Liaise with & report to site staff (clients, principle contractors, consultants & heating/plumbing sub-contractors) representing the company whilst at development sites. * Carry out the replacement, maintenance and servicing of Heatworks, HIU and heat meters aswell as retrofitting Pay-As-You-Go metering systems. * Installing and replacing heat meters on district heating networks. * Provide reactive maintenance including equipment installed in people’s homes or commissioned within a scheme but not yet handed over to clients/residents. * Carry out post-installation upgrade/maintenance programmes * Interact with clients & customers on site at developments. * Maintain personal equipment & stock of spares/consumables to a level ensuring continuity of service. Skills & Attributes * NVQ level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating. * Recognised Electrical qualification – 18th/19th Edition preferred. * SMSTS or H&S qualification would be desirable. * Previous experience installing, maintaining and servicing HIU’s is highly desirable. * Must hold CSCS card (or able to get one). * First aid training would be desirable. * Clean Driving licence Note:- Cornerstone Technical are acting as an Employment Agency. Static M&E Engineer / Mechanical and Electrical Engineer / Building Services Engineer required for our client, they are a well-known M&E / Building Services Contractor who have been in business for over 40 years. They are looking for a static engineer to be based in the North London area to look after an energy centre site that provides a large district heating scheme solution for the surrounding area. The role will be Monday to Friday, 8-5 with call out 1 in 3. It is expected that the M&E Engineer / MEP Engineer / Shift Technician will have proven knowledge of heating and cooling systems as well as confidence completing tasks that relate to planned and reactive service, maintenance and repair of a range of mechanical and electrical systems such as; boilers, chillers, pumps, valve, pipework, cooling towers, leak checks, HIU's, BMS monitoring and simple electrical checks etc It would be seen as advantageous for the M&E Engineer / Maintenance Engineer to hold NVQ Level 2/3, L8 / Legionella, Commercial Gas Tickets or 17th / 18th edition.
