This is a precision-based role involving the excavation of major transmission tower foundations (concrete pads) across challenging, mountainous terrain. You will be part of a specialist civils team delivering critical infrastructure in a high-intensity, safety-critical environment. Key Responsibilities: Foundation Excavation: Precise digging for reinforced concrete tower pads and high-spec structural foundations. Lifting Operations: Executing safe lifts for rebar cages, shuttering, and drainage components (Lifting Ops ticket required). GPS & Levels: Working to 3D models using Topcon or Trimble GPS to ensure accurate finish levels and batters. Deep Drainage: Installing industrial-scale drainage and utility ducting in peat and rocky ground. Safety & Maintenance: Conducting daily plant checks and adhering to strict Tier 1 safety and environmental protocols near sensitive watercourses.
