The Infrastructure Planning and EIA team supports development projects and land promotion for both external clients and in-house planning teams covering a wide range of sectors (including housing, education, retail, leisure, sport and infrastructure). You will work alongside colleagues with specialist skills in the provision of large scale planning projects, typically with EIA requirements. The focus of the role is supporting the planning team in general, with particular involvement with the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments. Alongside a general town planning advice role, the position involves: Preparation and Production of EIAs; Provision of specialist EIA advice to external and internal contacts; Assisting the Planning Team on large projects (including DCOs) , providing town planning advice/support; Project management responsibilities on complex EIA projects (including the management of third party consultants). Job requirements Candidates should be a chartered membership of the RTPI and hold an RTPI accredited town planning qualification at Masters level, a RICS accredited qualification (planning & development route) and/or IEMA (or similar) accredited.
