The role will involve: Visiting customer sites to offer technical support and advice Running training sessions for contractors (on-site and sometimes classroom-based) Supporting big installations and helping resolve any issues Demonstrating our products at events and customer meetings Working closely with our sales and product teams to share feedback and ideas Occasionally supporting our European team and joining calls with colleagues in the US and APAC We're looking for: Someone with solid experience installing flooring and walling products Great communication and presentation skills Organised, proactive, and happy to travel around the region A team player who s also confident working independently Someone who s curious, creative, and always looking for ways to improve If you ve worked with Whiterock or similar products, that s a bonus, but it's not essential. Mechanical Design Coordinator / Manager (M&E) Location: Telford (Hybrid Working) Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm Rate: £350-£450 per day (DOE) Permanent Package: Negotiable after 12-week trial period About the Company We are recruiting on behalf of an established Midlands-based M&E contractor delivering the full mechanical and electrical scope across a diverse portfolio of projects. These range from residential apartment schemes and large commercial/industrial units through to complex healthcare environments such as hospitals. The Role Our client is seeking a mechanically biased Design Coordinator / Design Manager to join their growing design team. This is a hands-on role suited to an individual with a strong mechanical background and extensive experience producing coordinated mechanical designs and models. You will work closely alongside the Electrical Design Manager, ensuring design coordination, buildability, and technical compliance across all stages of the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Produce and coordinate mechanical design models and drawings using Revit 3D and AutoCAD Lead mechanical design coordination across multiple project types Work collaboratively with the Electrical Design Manager to ensure fully integrated M&E solutions Review and develop mechanical installation designs for buildability and efficiency Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and site teams as required Support projects from design development through to construction Requirements Strong mechanical engineering background within building services Proven experience in mechanical design coordination or management roles Advanced proficiency in Revit 3D and AutoCAD Previous experience designing mechanical models and installation drawings Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment Strong communication and coordination skills Working Arrangement Office-based in Telford 3 days per week (initially) Remaining 2 days remote Increased flexibility and home working available once trust and performance are established Package £350-£450 per day during the initial 12-week temp period (dependent on experience) Opportunity to move to a permanent role after the trial period Competitive permanent salary and benefits package negotiable upon transition
