AWC Staff Services are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their clients Fire Protection team, in an established, accredited business. You will be delivering passive fire protection and fire door installation, remediation, and maintenance across the UK. Our client is growing and looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join the expanding team. You'll play a key part in helping deliver excellence to clients by managing project costs, supporting commercial decisions, and maintaining strong financial control from tender through to completion. What you'll be doing: Preparing and reviewing tender documentation, cost plans, and valuations Managing applications for payment, variations, and final accounts Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management Supporting contract negotiations and maintaining strong client relationships Ensuring compliance with company processes and third-party accreditations (FIRAS, ASFP, etc.) Collaborating closely with Operations and Finance to track project performance What we're looking for: Experience within fire protection, construction, or building services (fire doors or fire stopping experience would be an advantage) A strong understanding of commercial processes, contracts, and cost management Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data and reports Strong communication and organisation skills Someone proactive, professional, and ready to grow within a supportive team
