Role & Responsibilities: This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to apply knowledge, experience and problem solving skills to further your career within a successful and supportive environment. ·Will be responsible in leading and undertaking structural engineering analysis and design under the supervision of a senior engineer ·Production of designs for projects in accordance with relevant Eurocodes and British Standards ·Prepare and direct CAD Technicians to produce relevant structural information ·Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary design team The scope of work covers a variety of new build and refurbishment projects across a wide range of building private and public sectors. The types of projects include: Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Retail, Education, Hospitality and Healthcare. Requirements BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering Member of ICE/IStructE working towards chartered status. Minimum 2 years experience Experience of working in all main materials including Steel, timber, Masonry and Concrete Sound technical skills and willingness to learn Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Software experience in TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer / Robot would be desirable.
