Contracts Manager – Aluminium Curtain Walling
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a log established leading manufacturer and installer of aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling to the Construction Industry as a Small works Contracts Manager .
We have an extensive logistical base and manufacturing facilities, to allow the Company full independence and flexibility in the marketplace.
Due to a full order book and contracts spanning well into 2023 we now need to strengthen our management team another Small works Contracts Manager .
This Contracts Manager position is flexible and may include managing multiple small contracts to start with and then possibly evolve into a full time site management position when one our Large contracts starts.
The Contracts Manager must have experience in project coordination, managing installers and working to programme and deadlines. We do our own Powder Coating and manufacture the majority of our own products including Glass ,Brackets and Pressings which can help with reduced lead times and give a better service than normal to our Contract Managers.
This is a long term Contracts Manager opportunity and applicants must have experience in the the curtain wall Industry.
The majority of our work is based around the North West and Manchester and not based at Head Office.
This is a full time Contracts Manager position based in the offices at Preston, salary range: £40 -45000 per annum and will consider freelance

Candidate will have previous curtain walling, façade or glazing experience as the company specialises in the supply and design of curtain walling, architectural aluminium and building facades. My client would also would consider someone who would like to relocate off their own back.
Responsibility & Duties
• Produce high end technical drawings and AutoCAD design proposals
• Have a good eye for detail and accuracy
• Be able to work diligently on their own and within a well-established design team
• Be able to confidently read and understand Technical drawings
• Answer technical design queries from client, the company’s sales team & installers.
• Attend internal and external meetings to discuss client requirements Experience & Qualification
• Knowledge of curtain wall / façades / building envelope systems / cladding, Aluminium systems, Structural Glazing, windows, doors.
• Excellent oral and written English.
• HNC / HND in Building Studies, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Architectural Technologist
• Designers must be fully conversant with AutoCAD.
• Façade Design ideal
• Revit BIM would be advantageous

Due to recent expansion they are currently looking to recruit for experienced window/ door/conservatory/ warm roof/ roofline fitters/installers/Joiners/Carpenters to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established family run business at the heart of the community.
You will be required to undertaking installations throughout the area and ensure an excellent quality service is achieved throughout.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Previous experience in an installer/fitter role or joinery and carpentry experience.
· Full clean UK driving licence
· CSCS Card or equivalent preferred
· Be able to produce a high standard of work.
· Be able to liaise with clients in a polite and respectful manner
