Duties and Responsibilities: Input into your direct report s annual goals and check in on the development of these regularly. Manage, supervise, train and mentor the site team to enable them to perform their duties effectively. Communicate effectively with other engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers and client representatives. Highways - Site Manager - Northampton - Contract Your new role Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Site Manager will play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of civil engineering schemes. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong track record in managing maintenance, improvement, and major infrastructure projects-ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Duties:Lead the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring delivery of the programme and budget. Interpret scheme drawings, Bills of Quantities (B.O. Qs), and documentation in line with NEC4 contract requirements. Ensure compliance with NEC4 change control procedures, including early warnings and compensation events. STW has received 'Fast Track' status from OFWAT and are thus 1 of 3 Water Utilities proceeding from 1 April 2020 with their AMP 7 Programme of works. For LOT1 contractors this will be a share of around £1.5bn over the next 5 years. The Framework has within it a provision to extend the contract to eight years based on performance.
