Site Engineer - Major Water Treatment Works Upgrade Scotland Location: Perth and Kinross, Scotland (Site Based) Payment: OUTSIDE IR35 Own Total Station & GPS Required An opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a major long-term upgrade at a strategic Water Treatment Works in Scotland, forming part of a significant investment in regional water infrastructure. The project involves complex civils works within a live WTW environment, including new pumping assets, filters, pipelines, clear water storage tanks and associated structures, all focused on improving resilience and security of supply for a large customer base. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in site delivery, taking responsibility for setting out, quality control and site records. You will support RAMS, construction programmes, measurements, design coordination and handover documentation, while consistently leading by example on health & safety. If you are an experienced Site Engineer, who owns their own surveying equipment (Total Station & GPS) and is seeking long-term, site-based work on a technically interesting and high-profile water infrastructure project, we'd like to hear from you. Due to an increase in workload, our client a top Utility and Civil Engineering Contractor are looking for a Site Engineer to join their team on their Thames Water Framework and AMP8 with projects including Deep Excavations, Earthworks and Concrete works. Daily duties will include Setting Out, QA and assisting with Handover Documentation with the paperwork side being a big part of this role. To be considered you will hold a minimum of an HNC in Civil Engineering and have circa 1-2 years experience gained within the Civil Engineering sector with Water experience being ideal but not essential. You will also have CSCS certification as a minimum. In return, an excellent day rate is on offer which is Outside IR35 and comes with an immediate start and ongoing contract and also the chance to develop through training and development with excellent support!
