Key Responsibilities: Commercial management of highways projects from pre-construction through to final account Preparation, submission, and agreement of valuations Managing change control, variations, and compensation events Cost forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management Subcontract procurement, management, and payments Supporting final accounts and commercial close-out Working closely with project managers, engineers, and client representatives Ensuring compliance with framework procedures and contractual requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on highways / civil engineering projects Strong knowledge of highways frameworks and NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 preferred) Experience working on local authority or public sector highways schemes Strong commercial and contractual awareness Looking to speak to freelance Quantity Surveyors, who have experience working on highways schemes on frameworks for low value high volume projects.
