Our client are a leading A/C and Electrical Installation firm who are currently looking for a number of gold card Panel Electricians in the following areas:
Darlington - Scarborough - Stockton - Bradford - Harrogate - Gravesend
Night work (installation) will include:
Installing pre manufactured outstations onto air handling units
Each panel runs on a cat 5 network cable pulled into a new patch panel in the warehouse, this then is patched back to the main heating panel for communication with the bms system
We have to install a D.O.L starter to interrupt the feed to the fan motor which will be switched from the outstation, this also has trip detection which will notify the bms if the overload has tripped out
Measure any dampers that are faulty and record any faults on a check sheet at the end of each outstation installation
Day work (panels) will include:
Modify lighting panel including removing dix modules and 2rm modules and replacing with srmv's wired fail safe
Removing overloads from contactors in main heating panel which control air handling units
Fitting ct's in main heating panel plus all remote panels to monitor running of plant
Fitting and wiring trend controllers into all panels
Assisting commissioning engineers in final commissioning and fault finding
We will cover any hotel costs with a daily food allowance + 12p per mile to cover fuel expenses (if travelling over 1.5 hours)
Hours: 8-12 Hours per day
Job Length: 3 Months

The role will require you to cover various areas throughout the North East in areas such as Newcastle, Darlington, etc. Working throughout commercial properties, such as banks, retail shops, offices, etc.
Duties will include carrying out fixed wire testing duties and remedial works such as C2 and C3 observations from EICR reports, replacing damaged sockets, replacing lights, distribution boards and general electrical remedial works.
Start Date - Immediately
Pay Rates - Negotiable dependent upon experience and qualifications.
This ongoing contract will also have the benefits of a company vehicle and a company fuel card. As well as company PPE, Equipment, Uniform and Specialist Equipment
Flexibility is a must as you will be covering a large area, therefore travelling via jobs is a must and if for whatever reason there is no local work, there will be a hotel provided and expenses paid for breakfast and evening meals.
There is also evening, night work and weekend work. This is rewarded with a fantastic overtime rates schedule.
Working hours typically vary between 6am - 6pm (i.e 8am - 5.30pm) with an hour unpaid lunch. Please see overtimes below.
