You will become an integral part of our fantastic Building Surveying team while working on a variety of residential, education, commercial and civic projects. Our experienced team will give you the support needed to oversee and, in time, run your own projects from inception to completion, all while completing core APC competencies.
We will provide you with a structured training programme within a cohort of colleagues at similar points on their APC journey.
Our structured training programme includes:
Presentations on Level 1&2 competencies
Q&A sessions
Meetings with counsellor/supervisor to review process, sign off competencies and monitor the suitability of work being undertaken
Case study review
Day to day duties:
Assisting on technical projects
Overseeing works on site
Preparing and submitting applications for statutory consent and liaising with relevant authorities
Preparing existing proposed drawings in CAD
Drafting work specifications
Leading on tender activities and Contractor selection
Building defects analysis
