Minimum Requirements
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• The ability to self-motivate, work well as part of a team and have consistent attention to detail.
• Experience of Energy Conservation, Sustainability and Renewable Technologies, with an understanding of the principles of District Heating.
• An understanding of the Procurement and Installation of Low-Carbon Energy Generation
• A proficiency in the production of detailed System Design, including Comprehensive Calculations and meticulous Construction Layouts

You will be involved in the exciting and emerging sector of De-Centralised Energy and District Heating, working in partnership with an experienced team of design engineers, focused on developing bespoke Energy Centres and District Energy systems, including heating, cooling and power systems.
Job Summary.
The position is based in central London for projects within London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking for solid career progression and personal development.
The Engineer will work closely with the Design Engineering team in providing technical support to the onsite construction team.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Assist with the preparation of reports and front end studies, including capital cost estimates
• Develop project schedules, material take off’s and out to tender schedules
• Assist with the preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue and analyses of returned tenders
• Prepare & maintain the delivery schedule to ensure targets are met
• Seek to clarify queries with the Design team through the request for information (RFI) system
• Prepare programs using MS project
• Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports
• Produce look ahead programs to assist production.
• Maintain a register of contract variations
• Prepare test packs for recording the completion of systems
• Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging
