The Role The successful candidate will be a qualified Plumber responsible for carrying out a full range of plumbing and heating installation, maintenance, and repair works across a variety of social housing and refurbishment projects. You will be expected to deliver high standards of workmanship, work safely and efficiently, and support the smooth delivery of refurbishment, planned maintenance, and retrofit schemes. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Carry out first and second fix plumbing works, including pipework, sanitaryware, and water systems Install and maintain hot and cold water systems, waste systems, and soil stacks Fit and replace bathrooms, kitchens, taps, sinks, toilets, showers, and associated pipework Install, service, and repair boilers, radiators, and central heating systems where required Diagnose and resolve leaks, blockages, and plumbing faults efficiently Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure systems remain safe and operational Replace or upgrade plumbing components and fixtures in line with client requirements Ensure all works comply with current building regulations, water regulations, and industry standards Complete pressure testing, commissioning, and certification where required Maintain accurate records of works completed and any remedial actions Follow risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems Maintain a safe and tidy working environment, using tools, equipment, and PPE correctly Report any hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and specifications Work closely with site managers, supervisors, and other trades to meet programme deadlines Provide technical input and suggest practical, cost-effective solutions Represent the company professionally on all client and occupied sites Communicate progress, issues, and material requirements clearly to management Support and mentor apprentices or junior plumbers where required
