Commercial Gas Engineer Location: London and South East area Salary: £50,000 £55,000 DOE Contract: Permanent Hours: 8:00am 5:00/5:30pm (8 hours + 30 min lunch) The Opportunity They are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out PPM , reactive maintenance, and small installations across schools, hospitals, prisons, and student accommodation sites. This role offers stability, ongoing training, and the chance to work within a supportive long-established team. Key Responsibilities • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems • Boiler servicing, including pressure jet & external burners • Fault finding, diagnostics, and remedial works • Mechanical fitting, leaks, boiler house operations • Complete documentation and compliance records via Joblogic (H&S, RAMS, CP12/15/16) • Optional participation in a 24-hour call-out rota (make-safe only) Technical Requirements • Gas Safe qualifications: TCP1, TCP1A, TPC • Strong experience working in plant rooms and boiler houses • BMS system knowledge (preferred) • Full UK Driving Licence • Enhanced DBS (required) • Must supply own hand tools Working Hours & Overtime • Standard hours: 8:00am 5:00/5:30pm • Overtime rates: After 6pm: Time & Half Extended hours: Double Time Saturday: Time & Half Sunday: Double Time • All travel time and costs covered Benefits • 4 weeks holiday + bank holidays • Company pension contribution • Ongoing training & development opportunities • Supportive team environment within a long-standing family business Apply now to become part of a supportive team delivering high-quality services across London and the South East.
