Ensuring all incidents, near misses, Safety concerns, audits and action plans are closed out with corrective actions in a timely manner

Ensuring asphalt sampling is completed to the correct standards and timescales to ensure product quality

Assisting with and deliver regular tool box talks and safety briefings
*
Completing to company standards, Risk Assessments and Method Statements with the ability to review employees and contractors completed ones for accuracy
*
Helping ensure that the site unit as a minimum complies to ISO9001 & 14001 national third party accreditations
*

What will you bring?
*
QCF Level 2 SHE Qualification or comparable
*
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relations with others
*
Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably in a supervisory capacity
*
Understanding of budgets and financial responsibility
*
Highly organised with demonstrable planning and delivery capabilities
*
Understanding of basic maintenance and PPM

This company are one of the largest independent suppliers of aggregates in the UK. Due to their continued success they require an Area Production Manager to oversee 5 sites within the area.
In this role, you will manage and oversee site managers and supervisors within 5 manufacturing sites, overseeing all aspects of production and overcoming any issues with production.
This is an ideal role for a Production Manager with a background within the Aggregates or concrete industry looking for a new challenging position.
The Role:
*Oversee the production of 5 sites
*Manging site managers/ supervisors to ensure maximum output
*Overcoming production issues within the 5 sites
*Monthly Site Inspections
The Person:
*Previous experience within a similar role in the Aggregates industry
*Full UK Driving License
