Role Overview The Senior Revit Technician will play a key role in the design and detailing of building structures, leading the production of high-quality Revit models and drawings for concrete, steel, and composite structures. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver coordinated BIM outputs in line with company standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead the creation and development of 3D Revit models for multi-storey building structures. Produce accurate structural drawings, including general arrangements, sections, and reinforcement detailing. Coordinate BIM models with architectural, MEP, and construction teams to ensure consistency and accuracy. Ensure all work complies with project BIM Execution Plans and company quality standards. Support project delivery from concept design through to construction stage. Mentor and support junior technicians within the design team. Liaise with design engineers, contractors, and external consultants to resolve technical queries. Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to digital design improvements. Requirements Essential: Minimum 8 years experience in a structural or construction design environment. Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and associated BIM tools. Demonstrable experience working on multi-storey concrete and steel frame structures . Solid understanding of UK construction practices, detailing standards, and Building Regulations. Ability to produce high-quality, fully coordinated Revit models and construction drawings. Excellent communication and teamwork skills HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering. Experience within a main contractor or design-and-build environment.

As an MEP Revit Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, coordinated, and detailed 3D models and drawings using Revit MEP. Working alongside Mechanical (HVAC) & Electrical Design Engineers and BIM professionals, you will support the delivery of MEP designs across a wide range of exciting projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities: Create and develop accurate 3D MEP models using Revit to support building services design. Prepare coordinated MEP drawings, layouts, and schedules for engineering teams. Desirable: Experience working in a multidisciplinary consultancy environment. Familiarity with other BIM tools such as Navisworks, BIM 360, Dynamo, or similar. ONC/HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent technical qualification. Understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods.

Due to continued growth and an increase in workload my client based in the West End are currently looking for a Senior MEP CAD/Revit Technician to strengthen their MEP Design engineering and BIM production capability. My client was founded in the 70's and has grown from strength to strength opening 6 offices across the UK. The London office is expanding and with 30 multidiscipline engineers already in this office they are looking to increase this number by 20%. They have worked on projects from small refurbishments through to new build developments of commercial office space, hotels, retail, residential, historic, industrial, educational and healthcare. They also work for various global property management companies including Savills, Jones Lang LaSalle and Colliers international giving a good idea of my clients reputatuion in the market. Their varied sector/client reach does not stop there as they also deliver on listed buildings including the Globe Theatre, plus end users such as Disney This is a very important vacancy for my client as it means supporting the design engineers and leading the CAD team. You will be responsible for bringing your team up to speed with MEP REVIT as well as be the go to. You will be supporting the implementation of BIM practices and procedures as well as delivering work. This role also means you will be expected to mentor junior members of the team with your own technical expertise regarding MEP Revit. My client is more interested in your ability to do this than having many years of experience using CAD so it is essential that you know MEP Revit inside and out.
